Black and white are a classic and modern color combination and have been proven to be beneficial for the eyes of newborns. According to Dr. Sears, it's been shown through research that the bold contrast of black and white registers in a baby's retina and sends strong visual signals to the brain, which can lead to greater brain growth and more rapid visual development.  So while we love the soothing hues of pastels, you'll see the eyes of a newborn truly stimulated in a black and white nursery.

We love a black and white nursery for boy-girl twins, a gender neutral nursery or use these as a starting platform and add in pops of pink, aqua, blue, yellow... whatever you want!
